PROFESSIONAL ONLINE KIDS ENGLISH TEACHER / 16-20GBP per hour

Hello fellow educators! We are looking for passionate, experienced teachers who are able to create real connections with students and help them progress by getting to know their strengths and weaknesses – as opposed to following a regime of being online “edutainment” or following cookie cutter slides just to get through lessons. We want you to use your expertise and experience!

JOB DETAILS:

• Pay starts at 16GBP, up to 20GBP per hour (depending on experience)
• Payments sent monthly visa Wise
• Classes are held on Zoom
• Students mostly aged 6-12yrs old
• Stable schedule and regular classes, mostly 1-to-1 / 30-mins per class, up to 1hr
• Operating hours: 5 – 10pm weekdays / 8am – 10pm weekends Beijing time
• Regular bonuses for student renewals
• Hourly rate review for raises every 6 months

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Available for at least 6hrs per week between 5 – 10pm Beijing time, any day
• 3 years in-person classroom experience
• A genuine passion for teaching and helping young learners advance!
• Bachelor’s degree or above and ESL/EFL teaching certification
• Reliable internet connection
• Clear, neutral accent
• Preferable: Experience teaching critical thinking based classes / official Cambridge test prep classes for children (eligible for higher rate) / other test prep classes for adults or children.

PLEASE NOTE:

It is recommended that teachers can commit to at least 6hrs per week between 6 – 9pm Beijing time, on at least 1 weekend day and 1 week day to maximize their schedule straight away. 

Between 6 – 9pm Beijing time are our busiest hours. Availability outside of these times may take longer to fill with regular students.
