Online English Tutor

Talks Club is an ESL service, mainly for South Koreans. We offer 25 to 50 minute conversation-focused classes to all ages.

*We’re looking to hire a teacher who is interested in teaching 15-18 times a week from 8:00 PM to 11:30 PM KST (7 AM to 10:30 AM ET), with the possibility of adding more classes later. The start date will be as soon as possible.

Job Overview

1. Teach 1:1 online English language and content classes using Zoom

2. Most students are 10~15 years old

3. Typical work Time: 7AM ~ 10AM EST Daylight Savings (Korea Standard Time 8:00PM~11:00PM)

   4. We pay USD $6.5~ $8.0 per class (25 minutes) plus incentives. Pay to PayPal and/or direct deposit 2 times a month.

Requirements:

1. A native English speaker with clear speaking skills and a neutral accent.

2. A Bachelor’s degree or higher. Teaching experience and certification preferred.

3. Be properly equipped with high-speed Internet, Web cam and head-set (separated microphone and headphones accepted, if quality good), and Zoom compatibility.

4. Prepare your own classes, free-talking, articles, and/or textbook usage. We have a large collection of textbooks teachers can access and use for any circumstance at any time. We do not require our teachers to do tests or homework. If you want, you can choose to do this.
