Native English ESL teacher, Fez, Morocco
Job Description
The English Academy for Students and Professionals is a language centre based in the beautiful city of Fez, Morocco. Teachers have no admin hours and thus have plenty of time to enjoy their stay in Morocco.
We are looking to hire a native speaker to join our team of 3 other American teachers, whom we have been pleased to work with, thus we are seeking to add one more. You’ll organize courses for non-native speakers with diverse activities and methods that foster students’ immersion in the learning mission, in a rather enjoyable fashion for both the students and the teacher.
Please note that Morocco offers a very high quality of life and low costs of living. The income you will be making can offer you a comfortable stay.

Salary & Benefits
-The position: English as a second language teacher.
– Contract length and type: 1 year, renewable upon satisfaction of both
parties. Mid-term cancellations are thus unacceptable as they would harm
the business.
– Minimum income: The teacher is entitled to receive a total of 2550USD
every 12 weeks at least, split into three parts paid at the end of each month with an hourly rate of 15 USD an hour, this is very likely to increase to double or triple depending on how many hours the teacher will be willing to take.
– Taxes: the English Academy will cover 50% of your monthly tax rate for
the first 3 months. Upon applying and receiving your carte Sejour
(residency Card), you will be eligible to proceed with further
administrative paperwork which would reduce your taxes to 2%, according
to labour Moroccan law.
– Allowance: The English Academy will be paying a monthly allowance of
100 USD dollars. A two-bedroom apartment would cost 200 USD.
-Insurance: The English Academy is fully responsible for your safety and
security within the premises.
-Visa: Every citizen of the aforementioned countries is granted a
3-month stay without having to apply for a visa. During the 3 months,
you will be able to issue your Residency Card.

Requirements
– A 1 -year previous experience as an ESL teacher.
– Native speaker of English.
– Knowledge of various methods of teaching English to non-native speakers
– Great organizational and communication skills
– A joyful person.
– Ability to handle classroom crises
– CELTA , TEFL, TESOL certification
– Familiarity with Finance or/and Law jargon(s) would be preferable
